About Me
On December 6th the creators of WordPress released version 5 of WordPress which includes an entirely redesigned “editor” or “edit screen.”
Earlier today I updated video lectures #2, #3, #4, #5, and #6 to show the new Post/Page editing interface. Of particular interest is Lecture #6 which shows how to switch back to the “classic” editor. The WordPress team has announced that they will support the classic editor throughout the entirety of 2021.
The new editor is a controversial move from the WordPress team, and in lecture #6 I explain the situation in greater detail, and also demonstrate the very basics of working with the new editor.
